Best and worst horoscope compatibilities between men and women

by Jane on Jan.03, 2010, under Horoscope Compatibility

The following relationships are more likely to work, even if they are rocky. [To find out if a couple are compatible, check out Interpreting the Charts. To find out who is attracted to who, check out Western astrological signs’ appeal to each other and Chinese astrological signs’ appeal to each other.]

  • A relationship in which the man is more desirable, and
    • The couple are compatible from both Chinese horoscope perspective and Western horoscope perspective. For example, Keith Urban (October 26, 1967) and Nicole Kidman (June 20, 1967), George Walker Bush (July 6, 1946) and Laura Bush (November 4, 1946), John Lennon (October 9, 1940) and Yoko Ono (February 18, 1933), Ben Affleck (August 15, 1972) and Jennifer Garner (April 17, 1972), Tiger Woods (December 30, 1975) and Elin Nordegren (January 1, 1980).
    • The couple are compatible from Chinese horoscope perspective, and the man is attracted to the woman from Western horoscope perspective. For example, John Edwards (June 10, 1953) and Elizabeth Edwards (July 3, 1949).
    • The couple are compatible from Western horoscope perspective, and the man is attracted to the woman from Chinese horoscope perspective. For example, Prince Charles (November 14, 1948) and Camila (July 17, 1947). The relationship between Nick Lachey (November 9, 1973) and Jessica Simpson (July 10, 1980) would have lasted if Jessica Simpson did not become more desirable than Nick Lachey. Same thing happened to the relationship between Bruce Willis (March 19, 1955) and Demi Moore (November 11, 1962).

The following relationships are likely to work to some degree.

  • A relationship in which the man is more desirable, and the couple are compatible from Chinese horoscope perspective, and
    • The woman is attracted to the man from Western horoscope perspective. For example, Michael Jackson (August 29, 1958) and Debbie Rowe (December 6, 1958), Prince William (June 21, 1982) and Kate Middleton (January 9, 1982). The relationship between Justin Timberlake (January 31, 1981) and Cameron Diaz (August 30, 1972) could have fallen into this category if Justin Timberlake was a lot more desirable than Cameron Diaz. That relationship did not work out.
    • The couple are neither compatible nor attracted to each other from Western horoscope perspective. For example, Tom Cruise (July 3, 1962) and Katie Holmes (December 18, 1978), John F. Kennedy (May 29, 1917) and Jacqueline Kennedy (July 28, 1929). The relationship between Tom Cruise and Penélope Cruz (April 28, 1974) also belongs to this category but did not work out because their compatibility in Chinese horoscope is the weakest while their incompatibility in Western horoscope is the strongest, and Penélope Cruz became more desirable later on.
  • A relationship in which the man is more desirable, and the woman is attracted to the man from Chinese horoscope perspective, and
    • The man is attracted to the woman from Western horoscope perspective. For example, Huge Grant (September 9, 1960) and Elizabeth Hurley (June 10, 1965), Brad Pitt (December 18, 1963) and Gwyneth Paltrow (September 27, 1972). The relationship between Matt Damon (October 8, 1970) and Winona Ryder (October 29, 1971) could have worked out if Winona Ryder was a lot less desirable than Matt Damon at the time they were dating. The relationship between Huge Grant and Elizabeth Hurley ended because Elizabeth Hurley became about as desirable as Huge Grant later on. The relationship between Ashton Kutcher (February 7, 1978) and Demi Moore (November 11, 1962) may also be placed in this category because Ashton Kutcher has become more desirable later on.
    • The couple are compatible from Western horoscope perspective. For example, Prince Charles (November 14, 1948) and Princess Diana (July 1, 1961), Jude Law (December 29, 1972) and Sienna Miller (December 28, 1981), Jerry Seinfeld (April 29, 1954) and Jessica Seinfeld (September 12, 1971).
    • The couple are neither compatible nor attracted to each other from Western horoscope perspective. For example, Bill Clinton (August 19, 1946) and Hillary Clinton (October 26, 1947), Jude Law (December 29, 1972) and Sadie Frost (June 19, 1965), Brad Pitt (December 18, 1963) and Jennifer Aniston (February 11, 1969). The relationship between Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton relies on a lot of will power to stay strong. The relationship between Justin Timberlake (January 31, 1981) and Britney Spear (December 2, 1981) could have been placed in this category if Britney Spear was not so desirable. That relationship did not work out.
  • A relationship in which the man is more desirable, and the man is attracted to the woman from Chinese horoscope perspective, and
    • The woman is attracted to the man from Western horoscope perspective. For example, John Lennon (October 9, 1940) and Cynthia Lennon (September 10, 1939), Jackie Chan (April 7, 1954) and Lin Feng-Jiao (June 30, 1953).
  • A relationship in which the woman is more desirable, and
    • The couple are compatible from both Chinese horoscope perspective and Western horoscope perspective. For example, Kevin Federline (March 21, 1978) and Britney Spears (December 2, 1981).
    • The woman is attracted to the man from Western horoscope perspective, and the man is attracted to the woman from Chinese horoscope perspective. For example, Gabriel Aubry (January 4, 1976) and Halle Berry (August 14, 1966), Oprah Winfrey (January 29, 1954) and Stedman Graham (March 6, 1951).
    • The woman is attracted to the man from Chinese horoscope perspective, and the couple are neither compatible nor attracted to each other from Western horoscope perspective. For example, Marc Anthony (September 16, 1968) and Jennifer Lopez (July 24, 1969).
    • The man is attracted to the woman from both Chinese horoscope perspective and Western horoscope perspective. For example, Daniel Moder (January 31, 1969) and Julia Roberts (October 28, 1967).
  • A relationship in which the man and the woman are equally desirable, and
    • The couple are compatible from Chinese horoscope perspective, and the woman is attracted to the man from Western horoscope perspective. For example, Arnold Schwarzenegger (July 30, 1947) and Maria Shriver (November 6, 1955), Jake Gyllenhaal (December 19, 1980) and Reese Witherspoon (March 22, 1976), Chris Martin (March 2, 1977) and Gwyneth Paltrow (September 27, 1972).
    • The couple are compatible from Western horoscope perspective, and the man is attracted to the woman from Chinese horoscope perspective. For example, Tom Brady (August 3, 1977) and Gisele Bündchen (July 20, 1980). The relationship between Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen will work out well if Tom Brady becomes more desirable later on.
    • The man is attracted to the woman from Western horoscope perspective, and the woman is attracted to the man from Chinese horoscope perspective. For example, Michael Jackson (August 29, 1958) and Lisa Marie Presley (February 1, 1968), Kenny Chesney (March 26, 1968) and Renée Zellweger (April 25, 1969).
    • The man is attracted to the woman from Chinese horoscope perspective, but the couple are neither compatible nor attracted to each other from Western horoscope perspective. For example, Brad Pitt (December 18, 1963) and Angelina Jolie (June 4, 1975). The relationship between Vince Vaughn (March 28, 1970) and Jennifer Aniston (February 11, 1969) could have worked to some degree if Vince Vaughn had not become more desirable.
    • The couple are incompatible (i.e., neither compatible nor attracted to each other) from both Chinese horoscope perspective and Western horoscope perspective. For example, Ryan Phillippe (September 10, 1974) and Reese Witherspoon (March 22, 1976). It is quite amazing that their union lasted for eight years given the fact that they were so incompatible in horoscope. I guess it was because they married each other when they were still very young.

The following relationships are not likely to work. After the couple split, they don’t come back together again.

  • A relationship in which the man is more desirable, and
    • The man is attracted to the woman from Chinese horoscope perspective, but the couple are neither compatible nor attracted to each other from Western horoscope perspective. For example, Vince Vaughn (March 28, 1970) and Jennifer Aniston (February 11, 1969).
    • The man is attracted to the woman from Western horoscope perspective, but the couple are neither compatible nor attracted to each other from Chinese horoscope perspective. For example, John McCain (August 29, 1936) and Cindy McCain (May 20, 1954). I think their big age difference explains why they have never split.
  • A relationship in which the woman is more desirable, and
    • The couple are compatible from Chinese horoscope perspective, but are neither compatible nor attracted to each other from Western horoscope perspective. For example, Benjamin Bratt (December 16, 1963) and Julia Roberts (October 28, 1967).
    • The man is attracted to the woman from Chinese horoscope perspective, and the couple are compatible from Western horoscope perspective. For example, Nick Lachey (November 9, 1973) and Jessica Simpson (July 10, 1980), Bruce Willis (March 19, 1955) and Demi Moore (November 11, 1962).
    • The man is attracted to the woman from Chinese horoscope perspective, but the couple are neither compatible nor attracted to each other from Western horoscope perspective. For example, Chad Lowe (January 15 1968) and Hilary Swank (July 30, 1974).
  • A relationship in which the man and the woman are equally desirable, and
    • The couple are compatible from Western horoscope perspective, but are neither compatible nor attracted to each other from Chinese horoscope perspective. For example, Leonardo DiCaprio (November 11, 1974) and Gisele Bündchen (July 20, 1980), Jon Gosselin (April 1, 1977) and Kate Gosselin (March 28, 1975).
    • The woman is attracted to the man from both Chinese horoscope perspective and Western horoscope perspective. For example, Ben Affleck (August 15, 1972) and Jennifer Lopez (July 24, 1969), Tom Cruise (July 3, 1962) and Nicole Kidman (June 20, 1967).
    • The woman is attracted to the man from Chinese horoscope perspective, but the couple are neither compatible nor attracted to each other from Western horoscope perspective. For example, Justin Timberlake (January 31, 1981) and Britney Spear (December 2, 1981).

The worst relationship is one in which the man is more desirable and is attracted to the woman from both Chinese horoscope perspective and Western horoscope perspective. It can destroy the man. For example, Tiger Woods (December 30, 1975) and Rachel Uchitel (January 26,1975), John Edwards (June 10, 1953) and Rielle Hunter (March 20, 1964), and the worst of it all, Matthew Winkler (November 21, 1974) and Mary Winkler (December 10, 1973). By the way, John McCain (August 29, 1936) is also drawn to Sarah Palin (February 11, 1964) from both Chinese horoscope perspective and Western horoscope perspective. But I do not know if Sarah Palin was good or bad for John McCain’s presidential campaign.

Relationships that are not listed here are probably not likely to happen.

Earth signs’ independence and arrogance

by Jane on Nov.01, 2009, under People>People in Real Life> Horoscope>Western

It may be good to be independent. But it is not good to be arrogant. I found many people of earth signs to be very independent. But some of them make people feel that they are arrogant as well. I am not sure why and when they cross the line. But many of them do cross the line.

Of the most famous earth signs, I have not seen John McCain crossing the line. I think Carrie Prejean may have crossed the line sometimes.

I have met several young women of earth signs who have crossed the line. It is a small annoyance in life. People should not always follow the crowd or be submissive. But that does not mean that they can disrespect other people.

People who were killed at their worst time

by Jane on Oct.29, 2009, under Horoscope>Monthly

Annie Le (born July 3rd, killed Sept. 8th) – a water sign, killed in a month of an earth sign.

Meredith Kercher (born Dec. 28th, killed Nov. 1st) – an earth sign, killed in a month of a water sign.

Matthew Shepard (born Dec. 1st, attacked on Oct. 7th and died from the attacked on Oct. 12th) – a fire sign, killed in a month of an air sign.

John Lennon (born Oct. 9th, killed Dec. 8th), Marilyn Monroe (born June 1st, killed Aug. 5th), and Abraham Lincoln (born Feb. 12th, killed April 15th) – air signs, killed in months of fire signs. The attempt to assassinate Ronald Reagan (born Feb. 6th) also happened in a month of a fire sign (March 30th).

As we can see, they were all killed or almost killed about* two months before or after their birthdays.

There are also people who were killed about* six months from their birthdays: JFK (born May 29th, Killed Nov. 22nd), Harvey Milk (born May 22nd, killed Nov. 27th).

This analysis makes it easier to believe that Michael Jackson (born Aug. 29, died June 25) was killed intentionally rather than died accidentally since he died about two months before his birthday.

Not everyone was killed at their worst time. Some were even killed at their best time. For example, Gandhi was born on Oct. 2nd and killed on Jan. 30th.

* “about” here means “one week more or less than”.

What do Lou Dobbs, Joe Arpaio, William Calley have in common?

by Jane on Oct.10, 2009, under Hot Topics>Politics

They all belong to an air sign – Lou Dobbs (September 24), Joe Arpaio (June 14), William Calley (June 8). And all of them are or were once very mean to those who they considered as the enemies of their own people.

People of air signs do not consider all people as their friends, only those who share their identity. Their interests in humanity is limited. For them, only those who share their identity deserve to be treated humanely.

Frank Lautenberg (January 23), Maria Cantwell (October 13), and Dick Cheney (January 30) are other examples. They are harsh on people of different identities and hard at work in defending their own people against people of different identities.

So what about John Lennon(October 9)? I guess he considered people of other races as human beings like himself. His perception of what kind of people share his identity is different from others. He had a broader sense of identity.

By the way, there have also been many men of air signs who were very mean to women: Gary Ridgway (the Green River Killer) (February 18), Philip Markoff (February 12), and Robert Chambers (September 25). I guess they killed women because they considered women as people of a different identity and hated them. That may also be the reason why many people of air signs are homosexual. [*Ted Bundy (November 24), who belongs to a fire sign, not an air sign, also killed a lot of women. But I think he killed them because he was very selfish and coward, not because he hated them.]

A possible mistake made by Nobel Peace Prize Committee

by Jane on Oct.09, 2009, under Hot Topics>Politics

If they think that by awarding Obama a Peace prize, he will work harder for peace, they may be miscalculating. First of all, it is not all up to Obama what he can pursue. Secondly, if Obama is a typical fire sign, he may just take it for granted. People of fire signs in general do not risk their self-interest unless they have to do it to avoid punishment or to be awarded. Once the award has been given to them, unless you can take it back from them, don’t expect them to do anything to prove that they deserve to keep it. We have seen that from the fact that he has broken so many campaign promises. Not that it is all his fault. But he could have kept more of his promises. This shows that he is a typical fire sign who does not take his promises seriously and only says whatever that helps him get what he wants.
